Operated by Public Works &amp; Government Service Canada, this facility faced a unique hurdle: its large, open-concept space had to double as both an active, high-volume call center and a focused training environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The client&#8217;s problem<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The facility managers approached our team because speech privacy problems were disrupting day-to-day operations. Not only was confidential information easily overheard across the open office floor, but the issue also extended into private offices and meeting rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most complex dilemma occurred in the multi-function training area. When an open room is utilized as a call center, you need high-performance sound masking to obscure background chatter and protect client confidentiality.
